Reception
September- November: Text or call +358504329965 about 1-2 hours before arrival and tell us your name, your camper/car registration number, how many adults and children, how many nights and your estimated arrival time. We will apply with the code for the service house, information about the camping and the payment. Our staff is actively working throughout the area in various tasks/ coming and going. December 22th until 4th of January 2026: reception is open from 10-22. Staff could be cleaning, working at the cafeteria-bar or outside, in that case, call +358504329965

Right on the Kemijoki River, between two bridges. Distances: City Centrum 1,2km (restaurants, shopping malls, museums, shops) Ounasvaara´s nature, skiing centrum 1,3km, Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle is only 8 km(buses from the city or book a private transfer with us).

How do we access the campsite?

Drive along the main road E75 (E4) toward Rovaniemi.

Turn onto road 78 (Ranua–Kajaani) — continue toward the city center.

Cross the Jätkänkynttilä Bridge, and immediately after the bridge, turn right toward Ounaskoski Camping.

Drive about 0.5 km from the bridge to Jäämerentie 1.

Until when is the campsite open in the autumn?
Our campsite is open until September. We are actively working towards year-round opening hours.

How do you take sustainable tourism into account in your operations?
We take care of recycling on our site, prioritize domestic products in our shop, are committed to developing sustainable tourism, and incorporate local culture and Lapland heritage into our operations.

What services are included in your basic fee?
Our basic fee includes everything you need: restroom facilities, showers, public sauna sessions, dishwashing and laundry facilities, a cooking shelter, greywater and waste water disposal, and fresh water refills.

Do I need to notify you of my arrival in advance?
We recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during the busiest seasons.

Kaksi kertaa oon käynyt kyllä se on hyvä. Miinusta siitä että ei ole yleistä jääkaappia.
Tämä leirintäalue sijaitsee käytännössä Rovaniemen keskustassa. Olin sesongin ulkopuolella (24. lokakuuta) tila-autolla ja leirintäalue oli kiinni, mutta kun soitin johtajalle, hän tarjosi minulle saapuvani ja aloittavan kytkennän joka tapauksessa ja hän tuli klo 20.00 maksamaan, jolloin kylpyhuone (ilmainen kuuma suihku) ja keittiö olivat käytettävissä. Kehua!
On kyl hieno Camping alue.Olimme pari yötä asuntoautolla. Kaupungin valot loisti joen toisella puolen oli kiva istua ulkona ja katsella valoja.Siistit suihku ja vessa tilat.Suosittelen
